remember a few months ago i was saying how much i love youtube and then i started my own channel, well fuck them. i’m trying to re-upload my video ‘criminal reality’ to fix some audio and interlacing issues, and now it’s being held by fox because of the Simpsons clip at the start. even though the original video is still live. it’s the exact same video, but one is ok, and one isn’t? they said it’ll take ten to fourteen days to settle when I filed a counter-notice claiming fair use.

they also removed all copies of mia’s video “born free”, because it contains graphic depictions of the truth. luckily, on the internet, once youtube has fully descended into corporate whoredom, there will always be a replacement waiting. so here’s mia’s video, on vimeo.

and yeah, I’m gonna keep using their service to upload my videos, because it’s convenient and useful, and I’m comfortable only in the fact that I am using what they offer against them.
