Capitalism? Epic Fail!

Well, that’s pretty much the title. I had to put it in all caps for youtube though. Somehow it seems more appropriate, even though I like the lowercase as well…

well done, your best effort to date imho, but I have the feeling that you will continue to out-do yourself. not sure who equated it all to a ponzie scheme, but I have been considering that it is this way for a while now. just in the last few weeks, the company that I work for has cut agreements with other unions in my place of work that will reduce their income by 20-25%, and after those agreements were reached, a several hundred page document was released that outlined our companies strategy to emerge from bankrupcy protection. it all looked pretty good until page 54 (or 57) where it outlined the ceo and his cronies bonus structure of 30-100% of their annual salery. for many, this will be devastating, young families will likely move away, which will jeaprodize my place of work and change the small community that I live in.
what is the definition of greed?? is it that they must have more? must have it all? how can they not realize that THEY HAVE ENOUGH? once you fulfill your obligation to your family, friends and community, should not your focus be to extend your efforts to help, further? how many billions do you need? (the answer is ‘NONE’)

I think the billionaires are just as scared as we are. They play a risky game investing in banks and stocks and each one of them is probably worried that their specific financial institution will die, like lehman brothers did, and they’ll lose everything. So they keep trying to get more and more in hopes that that will never happen.

And I’m sure each one of them has managed to convince themselves that everyone could be in their position if they just worked hard enough.
